TheWick
Hello im new in the forum so sorry if this question was already answered. I have a Line 6 Spider IV 75 and have no input. I can plug in an mp3 but no sound/signal from the guitar! I can listen the speaker when turn it on and when plug in an mp3 but thats all! The tuner also not getting any signal. Can it be the little chip on the input? Thanks.
fflbrgst
There could be many possible reasons, from something as simple as a wire that has come loose to something in the preamp circuit. Only a repair center could make the evaluation for you.
TheWick
Thanks for your answer. I've bought the little chip to check if it is that or not (hoping it is  ) as the only thing that its not working is the input signal. I'll say something as soon as the chip arrives. Thanks. I have no idea what this magic "chip" is that you've purchased, but the problem may have nothing to do with the amp at all. I'd check the more likely explanations first: 1) Faulty guitar cable. 2) Faulty output jack on the guitar, or loose solder joint connected to it. Rule out one thing at a time... TheWick
I tried 2 guitars and some cables but still no signal. The input socket has a small chip (TL072), which a man from a guitar shop told me it might be the problem. Might worth a try! thanks
