jonnymags
Don't have the FH yet but considering a move from my m9. Is it possible set a global amp & it's parameters so when doing gig straight into amp, switch FH to amp and bypass amp models, but if a gig with no backline and straight to PA then you can just select one FH amp model without having to choose for each preset? Cheers, J
silverhead
No, there is no global amp setting. You need to choose an amp (or no amp) for each preset.
nremondelli
Is this possible with the 500x?
silverhead
No. But in both cases (Firehawk and Hd 500X, and most other Line 6 guitar processors) you can create a template preset with the amp and settings that you want and use it as a starting point to copy and customize other presets. cebreez
That is exactly what I did. Made a basic amp/cab model without any effects and populated all of the presets on that bank. Then change each preset to suit what I needed. For example I modeled a Fender Twin Reverb as close as I could then use the presets to establish "clean", "lead", "filtered", etc. Makes it cool way to select your bank depending on the amp you want to play through.
