talwilkins
What is the recommended impedance for headphones on Helix? With HD it was high impedance (200-600 Ohm?). I'm hoping this is not the case with Helix.
duncann
If I use my Sony MDR-V7506, 63 Ohms, with the headphone output, it works, but the volume control is so close to zero and it is LOUD. So higher impedance headphones would work much better, or use one of the other outputs on Helix to another amplification system for use with lower impedance headphones. DarrellM5
I'm using Sennheiser HD280 Pro headphones, which are 64 ohms, and they sound really good. I know that some folks were using a headphone preamp with the HD500X to drive their lower impedence sets.
