Block assigned to multiple switches?

I know that multiple blocks can be assigned to a single footswitch.  Can I assign a single block to multiple switches?  I have a Boost and a Delay assigned to one switch, but could I have a second switch where I can just turn on the delay?  I know I can set up another block, but I am trying to save some DSP due to the slow switching between patches.  Thanks for any ideas!

No - you can't assign the same block to multiple FS. In your case I would assign Boost and Delay to different FS and turn them on/off individually as desired. I know this means hitting two FS sometimes rather than one, but I think you'd have to do that anyway even if it were possible to assign the same FX to two FS.

Imagine things worked the way you'd like. One FS would turn both Boost/Delay on/off depending on the state in which you saved the preset. If a second FS turned only one of them on/off, as soon as you do that you defeat the purpose of the dual-assigned FS. It will no longer operate as you set it up - you will have to toggle the singly-assigned FS again first, meaning the same double FS tap you are trying to avoid.

I would just make one block with boost and delay assigned, and a second block with just delay on it. There would be no issue with slow switching between presets because you would working in one preset... no need for switching in this case. If it is a super busy/involved preset and you are trying to save every last bit of real estate then understandable why you wouldn't want to have to add a second delay but if that's not the case, you're better off just adding a second delay block independent of the boost/delay multiple.
