Switching delay units question

Maybe this is totally obvious, but my brain is not wrapped around how to accomplish this.

I have a patch set up that has a short single delay on for the rhythm section of the song.

What I want to do is use a footswitch to create a solo tone, increasing the channel gain and master setting of the amp model, and adding a different delay.

I have the switch set to do the gain, master, and solo delay on, but can't figure out how to turn the rhythm delay off.

So basically hitting the footswitch on is turning the delay off.

Maybe there is another way to do this?

Thanks for any advice.

You need to save the preset in the normal state you want it to call up in.  I'm assuming the regular delay on, the other 3 things off.

If you've already assigned control for the other 3 to that button, you have to add control for the original delay to that button as well.

Get them in the state you want them in by highlighting them with the joystick and using the bypass button.  If they're all assigned to that footswitch, they should be toggled between whatever state you have them in.

I'm not very good at explanations, but I think the only thing you're missing is to assign control of the original delay to that button as well and getting it in the bypassed state when the others are on.  Then the button should toggle back and forth.

Robberns, you may want to switch the "Mark Solved" to Glideman's answer. That way his answer to your question is what shows up highlighted in green and answered.
