Combo amp with HD500X

I've been considering the possibility of changing my current stage rig from a Blackstar 212 cab and Crate powerblock head to a 210 or 212 combo amp. My main guitar signal is direct to pa. I typically use the amp just for stage sound and feel so it doesn't have to be perfect, just reliable.  Solid state amps like the roland jc 40 or 120, and the Cube 80 have been catching my eye lately but I'm curious to see what others on the forum are using to amplify their pods on stage. Any and all input is much appreciated!

I know there are guys doing this who seem to be happy with the results, but a patch tweaked for a FRFR speaker(s) running straight to the PA is gonna sound very different through any "traditional" guitar amp. Having both running at the same time would drive me nuts, but if it works for you, then soldier on!
