One other thing I have been experimenting with is a split signal parallel to the cab block with just a volume block to act as a parallel DI. I feel like I lose punch and presence with just the cab alone. If Line 6 would put a Mix % control in the Helix Cab blocks like they do the Impulse Response Blocks, I wouldn't need to to split the path.
