lycralad
Hi, I've just bought a second hand Helix and I'm just getting to grips with it. My question is ...on the Helix main screen there is a number 1 in what looks like a folder in the top right corner, what does this represent? Also, after the preset name there is a tiny letter E, what is this? The cheat sheet and manual give no clues as to what these are. Cheers Darren
taylorbeats
Folder icon is a "snapshot" you can have a total of 8 depending on how the foot switches are arranged. The small "e" indicates the patch has been edited and has not been saved.
phil_m
The cheat sheet and manual give no clues as to what these are. You're looking at an outdated manual. Here's the latest: http://line6.com/data/6/0a06439c975d5787c3e351aa0/application/pdf/Helix%202.0%20Owners%20Manual%20-%20Rev%20D%20-%20English%20.pdf Pages 34-39 describe the Snapshots feature, which is what the camera icon is representing.
