Cattlerancher
Just curious as to if I'm missing something. Both sets of power tubes are not modeled in this thing like the real amp, correct? It's too bad, especially with snapshots now... Clean would be 6v6, edge of breakup and crunch el84, and then lead 6v6. The most impressive thing would have been the ability to seemlessly transition from one set to the other via a knob, rather than a black or white switch. All that gray is very intriguing. zooey
Like the amp though, one of my faves. (Helix version I mean, never played a real one.)
FlyingsCool
I've searched all over, does anyone know which power section was modeled? I'm only familiar with the amp through youtube demos, and I'm not smart enough to figure it out.... I like to know these things because it helps to set up the amps the more you know about them.... Seems to me that drive 1 pushes some 6v6 sound and drive 2 el84 from what i hear. Based on my experience with similar equiped analog amps.
