Gibson Varitone Simulation

Use to play an old Epi that had one.  Doesn't seem like the eqs cut deep enough though, am I missing something?

 

Position 1--> no cut
Position 2--> -5db at 1950hz
Position 3--> -12db at 1100hz
Position 4--> -16db at 620hz
Position 5--> -18.5db at 360hz
Position 6--> -21db at 120hz

Not an expert here... but I would imaging that the Q/Notch on the Vairtone circuit is a bit more extreme. So just cutting at those bands won't have quite the same effect on the sound unless you can adjust the Q of each band.
