peterschut63
Hi forum. Just wanted to share a patch bay I made for the Helix Rack in my music room/office. I wanted to have two send and returns in the front, my headphone amp outputs from the TC BMC-2 Monitor control units. Also the Mic, Aux and the Variax inputs (on my wish-list) are wired out together with the Helix Control port. Then I had two holes left so added two USB3 ports from my new PC as this place is more convenient that the back of the PC. No rocket science but the result looks great to me. Total cost about 150 Euro Cheers
MonkeyXT
That's excellent. I almost went with a 4-space rack container for my Helix Rack so that I could do something similar - I pack mine up and take it along for my occasional sit-in gigging, and I'd prefer to have the plug-unplug wear and tear be shunted to something that's more serviceable (self-service I mean) than the unit jacks. Nice clean execution. Excellent.
PeterHamm
So where do you get those parts?
peterschut63
So where do you get those parts? I bought them at thomann.de but these are all Neutrik parts and I would expect available in most countries.
