bpitts-usa
Just about to buy either the 500X or FH and wanting some thoughts on which is best. I love the idea of the iOS interface to FH and its flexibility, but I have been reading some comments about FH not being as well built as the 500x... Is this an issue to those of you that play live occasionally??? Thanks BP
ric1966
Played a gig last night and it performed flawlessly! Lots of compliments on the sound out front. I ran mono 1/4" out to a 12" full range monitor and the mono XLR out to the main board. I've had mine since June and it has supported countless rehearsals and a handful of gigs with no reliability issues. Can't speak to the HD500X. kevell99
I've dropped mine off a stage, had it fall out of its case smack onto its face, and generally stomped all over it, and the biggest complaint is a slightly squeeky volume pedal (which you can't hear with any kind of volume). Oh, and the display isn't bright enough in direct sunlight, but in Ireland this generally isn't a recurring issue ;D
JamieCrain
Build quality is absolutely fine, it won't be a problem. My only complaint is that the foot switches are too close together for me. Have to wear pointy shoes!
mcbeddall
Be sure to research the differences between the 500 and the firehawk as there's quite a lot of things that the firehawk can't do when in a direct comparison with the
