Helix Effect Loops

Hi everyone

I am currently running the Helix as a pedalboard into an Hiwatt head.

I am also using some gain pedals in the loops:

Loop 1: Pete Cornish P-1

Loop 2: Tube Driver

Loop 3: Kingsley Page

I manage the three pedals with 3 different single S/R blocks, but when the loops are not engaged, the noise of the gain pedals still remains.

I have solved the problem using 2 different blocks for each pedal ( a send and a return), but doing this I have 6 blocks and not very much space for the rest of the effects. It seems that in the single S/R block only the send is bypassed and the return is always on. This could be the reason of the noise...but I am not a technician!

I hope this issue can be solved in the future firmware! Thank you very much

Sounds like Phil_m and SymphonicDiscord may have the answer for reducing noise from the returns as well as cutting down on the required number of blocks. In addition, in regards to not having enough space for blocks you may have already been aware of this but using something like the 'Super Serial (X2)' template in the Templates preset list will give you all four paths available for blocks for a total of 32 available blocks. Essentially the diagram showing on pg.19 of the manual.
