cptnstlite
Hello, I did spend some time on a search and it looks like the editor should be version 2.11 after the update. As you can see by the screen cap below, the HELIX updated successfully to 2.11. However, the editor is still version 2.10 - I assume this is not correct. Can someone please tell me what steps I need to take to update the editor only, I haven't been able to come up with anything. Thanks in advance for your help. silverhead
Go to the Downloads page. Select Helix in the middle (software) field - not the left (product) field. You will see a page with big red letters containing the update instructions. Follow them closely. The first thing to do is download the edit program (see the Get Donwload button in the bottom right corner of the instructions window). Run the downloaded installer file. This installs the edit program as well as two other key pieces: the most recent driver and Line 6 Updater program. Then you use the just-installed Updater program to update the firmware. The fact that you don't have the v2.11 editor suggests that you did not use the proper versions of the driver and Updater program, which in turn means that the update may not have been installed correctly. I would start at the beginning, follow the instructions closely, and perform the update again.
cptnstlite
Thank you, I see it. I don't see where I deviated from the instructions but I'll try the update a third time.
DunedinDragon
Thank you, I see it. I don't see where I deviated from the instructions but I'll try the update a third time. To be VERY clear, the FIRST thing you download AND INSTALL will be the editor. If you're on Windows 10 it's possible that when you select the "download" button on the the page to download the editor, it may only download it which will then show up on the lower left hand side of the window. You then need to select the drop-down arrow on that box in your window to tell it to install the software. That will then install the editor, the audio driver, and the updater application.
