gtrwizrd
So I'm trying to emulate a stereo effect (after finally figuring out what it is- I first discovered it with Alice In Chains's "Last of My Kind" and the solo in "No More Tears") so I was wondering if this was possible with the 500x.. Ive been using the pitch glide 1 octave higher and placed it at the end of the chain (anywhere from 24-30%) but it still doesn't quite get that 'stereo' sound. Anyone have any advice? pianoguyy
If you could be more specific -- like saying "happens at 4min 30 sec and lasts for 10 seconds" -- that would go a long way to knowing what you are talking about. But stereo is easy. It is left and right. It requires two separate speakers placed far apart so that you can hear the separation. As to the two songs you mentioned (without knowing what specific part you want) - I hear delay/echo, and I hear multi-track recording where each part was recorded separately. Be more specific, so that we can be more specific.
joel_brown
I use a stereo delay between the left and right output of the PODHD with a 20ms delay. Don't know if that will get you what you're looking for but it gives a nice stereo effect. Other things are chorus or detune - both used in extremely small amounts.
