Best looper pedal for my TT

HI! 

 

Is there any way of getting just a decent looper pedal connected to my TT? From what I can understand it´s possible thru the FX100 for instance, but I just want a loop function not an extra multi-effects unit.

 

Is it impossible to connect the Boss RC-3 pedal to my tt? That would be awesome though :)

You could connect a looper pedal after an Amplifi tt, as well as FX100. Another route I've seen users take is connecting an Ipad via USB with the camera connector kit and using an app to loop.

Ok, thanks for your reply. I found that the FBV express MKII should be able to connect to my TT. Can I use my TT with this pedal to get o good looping function? Have anyone tried this?

the footcontroller will not give you any looping ability - that just is a couple buttons and a "knob you can step on" (the wah/volume pedal), it has no brains on its own. You can only switch presets / tones but you won't get a looper with that.

 

So if you already got a looper pedal, then just use that. Although the TT doesn't have an effects loop, so you'd have to put it in front of it, and that might defeat the purpose.. (unless you use it in front of an amp and then you can put it after the amp-out on the TT and feed it in the fx-return on the other amp) So I'd personally go for recording to PC/Mac via USB and use a DAW to loop - but that's because I have laptop closeby, so not much extra effort)
