twystedriffs
Hey guys.. I was running through my amps, and using my dunlop talk box no problem. Recently made the switch to fr monitors, and rebuilding my patches. We do a cool rock version of Those Shoes by the Eagles, talk box and harmony sounds awesome! But is it possible to push it with an amp block or through a send? Havent tried yet, seeing if anyone has any advice first..thanks!

Just checked the tune on youtube - took me back so far in time, I forgot I even knew it.... Smart Harmoniser in first block (not sure if the harmony will be the same all the way through, whether it's harmonic minor or whatever...), and next block FX send to talk box. If there's not enough oomph into the talk box, add an overdrive or whatever, before the FX loop block. I have used my MXR talk box via the FX loop, no problem, though not with a harmoniser. twystedriffs
Cool, thanks! I have a snap for the main harmony, then a dual harmony for the second verse.. its a great tune, we rock it up a little and people live it, think they forgot how cool it was too! Thanks, Ill give it a shot this afternoon..
Rockdoc1807
MXR talk box - I am in an Alice in Chains tribute band and use the MXR. It is powered and just needs the signal. I dropped an effects loop send into the chain and run a 1/4" XLR from send 1 to the box with no return. It works great and doesn't change the tone I have built. I can also engage the volume pedal to kill the FOH and still get the effect to send to the box ala Rotten apple. - Hope this helps someone
Verne-Bunsen
Rockdoc, do you have any video or audio of your bands performances posted anywhere? I'd love to hear some.
