jackaugust
Hi All, As you probably know when sitting, the toe down switch to engage the wah or volume function on the FVBMKII can be a bear. There is a cure. Remove the dual rubber bumpers under the expression pedal. They are keeping the toe press stiff. They are easy to see, just take a side look under the pedal toward the front. You'll have to remove the base of the FBV unit and then the pedal itself to get at the bumpers. It sounds difficult but isn't if you're are careful. Take note of the assembly before you take it apart. Take pictures if you need to be sure. Then take a pair of pliers and pull the bumpers off. It's that simple. Put the assembly back together. If you did it right you'll get easy toe down presses between volume and wah. If you feel it's too easy to press down stuff a chunk of foam under the expression pedal. Trim it to taste. Enjoy. fflbrgst
The bumpers must soften up with use, seems to me it was only difficult when the pedal was new (although trying to do it when sitting is still difficult). The bumpers insure that when you step on the pedal in either mode all the way toe-down you don't hit the switch accidentally.
