keggers 0 Posted August 27, 2017 If you select pre amp only on hfx edit it automatically throws up cab and mic settings, are they just there as a matter of course and have no function or do they function, I thought that the idea of pre amp only was to take those details out of the equation Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
joel_brown 357 Posted August 27, 2017 You have to manually turn off the cab - even when using the Pre Amp only models. Then the mic settings doesn't do anything. Otherwise it will use a cab Impulse Response (IR) and that will change you're tone quite a bit. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
