giaturr
Can anyone explain it? It's $99.99, that means €82.86 in Europe (I'm in Italy, and own a Helix floor). But in the shopping cart it becomes €99.99. Not a difference to die for, but it's a software: no shipping cost, no dealer, no stocking. Maybe it's taxes, but I bought a lot of software oversea,.. this is not the rule. Thank You
Rewolf48
Line 6 charge local sales taxes based on the address you enter. So in UK it is $99 + 20% VAT then divide by 1.3 to convert to GBP. In the US it varies as sales taxes are local, so in Chicago it might be $115 after 15% Sales Tax but in Alaska it is $99 because they don't have Sales Tax. US Prices are always before Sales Tax except vending machines where it would be too confusing.

tommasoferrarese
You always get charged for VAT, in Italy, whatever the subject of the transaction, if things are done properly. What is definitely missing is the option to enter a VAT ID number to legally detract taxes from the expenses, which a lot of US companies allow you to do. Line 6 should update their selling scheme to let professional musicians take advantage of that, as prescribed by EU laws. The only other brand that doesn't allow this that I know of is UAD, but they give you a coupon double the VAT amount to shop for plugins (how clever, lol)
