willjrock
So ive always gotten this mssg on this computer when trying to open the editor. https://www.dropbox.com/s/0wdhe9tagbn9rwr/hsux.PNG?dl=0 My work around was to select "run in 256 colors". Ugly, but no need for the editor to look pretty on this box. With 2.30, now 256 colors doesnt even work. That means the updater wont launch at all for me even though the last one was no problem, making it impossible to update. Im pretty sure open GL 2.0 wont work on this box, but what do i know? Can anyone offer any advice? Thanks. In addition it doesn't even seem as if i can link a simple image file to dropbox from here. Something on my end i bet. spikey
I don't understand why you are choosing to run 256 colors? I know Windows 7 can run more colors than this. Could be that the editor itself won't run on that minimum?
willjrock
Thats the only way the editor will launch. This is just a computer i use to surf the net. One to take with me out of town. I have the same OS on my main recording boxes at home and they work fine. It a graphics driver issue, or so its being reported that way.
