aaron__aardvark 69 Posted November 23, 2017 This isn't for the faint of heart, but I think you're up for it. I put a new song in my music website called "Set Your Sights For the Celestial". It uses three different brands of amp modeling: PodXT, Mercuriall Audio Software Tube Amp Ultra 530 Free, and Softube Metal Amp Room. It might not sound like it, though the song starts right away with guitar (with Waves MetaFilter): let's call that "Amp Model 1". Then at 0:32, there is the double-tracked rhythm guitar using "Amp Model 2". Then during the chorus (which first starts at 1:32), there is "Amp Model 1" again, though this time for the double-tracked rhythm guitar. At 2:04 is the lead (Cry-Baby wah-wah) guitar, which uses "Amp Model 3". Can you tell which amp model is which? Please tell me how you like this song, and how it can be improved. It is the song at the top of this link: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=224436
Triryche 2,610 Posted November 27, 2017 I will give it a shot, but might not get to it until Wednesday. (or Thursday?)

Triryche 2,610 Posted December 8, 2017 My Guess: Amp Sim 1 = Mercuriall Amp Sim 2 = Soft Tube Amp Sim 3 = PODxt btw, dig the vibe!!
aaron__aardvark 69 Posted December 9, 2017 OK, here are the answers: "Amp Model 1" = Mercuriall U530 Free (which Triryche got correct). "Amp Model 2" = PodXT. "Amp Model 3" = Softube Metal Amp Room. Thank you Triryche for listening and commenting, and giving it a shot.
