tuner calibration

Can anyone explain to me how in the hell to calibrate the tuner on this thing?  I'm trying to play along to solo over backing tracks and the amp says I'm in tune, but I sound out of tune to everything.

I don't believe you can calibrate the tuner. If you need the tuner to tune and it allegedly doesn't work, how do you know you're out?  =:-)  (Sorry, I couldn't resist)

 

I sometimes tune using harmonics. For example, on the low E play the harmonic at the 5th fret and then on the A, the harmonic at the 7th fret. Listen for vibrations. When the 2 notes stop vibrating, they're in tune.

My tuner needs recalibration as well. It is a half step lower than my other tuners. If the tuner cannot be recalibrated can someone point me toward the instructions for a factory reset?
