Indianrock2020
You wouldn't use this often but it's kind of cool. John Shanks used it in this video at 02:35 into the song. So have you set this up in a patch?
jbuhajla
I assign tremolo speed to an expression pedal almost all the time I use tremolo. That track sounds different though. Sounds like they are changing increasing the mix %.
Indianrock2020
You may be right. So low, maybe imperceptible tremelo for most of the song but with speed set fast, then pedal in the mix or level for accent at certain points. You could have the tremolo on all the time, then make the mix sweep from 0-100%, maybe on a parallel path.
Verne-Bunsen
Wouldn’t necessarily have to be on al the time, the auto-bypass works very well for this. I use an external expression pedal set for tremolo on just about every single patch, I really like it.
Indianrock2020
auto-bypass ?
Verne-Bunsen
You can configure it so that the bypass state (on/off) is controlled by the expression pedal position. I set mine up so that anything greater than 0% on the expression pedal turns the tremolo on, then you have your whole control sweep, and going back to 0% (heel-down) turns it back off.
