Phil_GMC
Hello folks, I use my G10 for my 90 minute practise each night and I put it in the dock to charge it afterwards. Someone told me that the transmitter can only be charged about 300 times, does that mean it won't last a year doing it this way? Thanks Phil

I have been using mine for about a year and I do the very same thing you do. No issues with charging yet. All rechargeable batteries do have a definite lifespan though, so at some point you will need to replace it.
MusicLaw
One Full Charge cycle is from battery shut down to Full Charge -- regardless if this occurs over several partial recharges. In other words, charging to full then using 1/4 of the battery capacity (for example, 2 hours of transmit time), then recharging to full capacity equals only 1/4 of a Full Charge Cycle. Do this Four times and you have reached One Full Charge Cycle. Most Lithium Battery powered devices have a life of between 300 to 500 Full Charge Cycles. That would be about 2400 hours (at least) of G10 Transmit time at the rated 8 hours of transmit time per G10 Full Charge. Lithium rechargeable batteries do not have anywhere near the memory problem of NiCd nor NiMh batteries. Partial charging or topping off a Lithium rechargeable battery is not a problem. Phil_GMC
Thanks for clarifying, I'll carry on as I am :) Is the actual battery replaceable or do I have to buy a new transmitter? Cheers Phil
