afc1903
Apologies if this has been asked before - I've searched but can't find a post relating to this. I have Helix set in stomp/preset mode, and have one footswitch assigned to Multiple (2) - switching one block on, and one block off. How do I delete the assignments? I only want the pedal to switch a black on, but can't work out how to delete the multiple assignment?
DunedinDragon
Select the block you want to turn off. Hit the menu and go to bypass assignments. You'll see the assignment of that block to the specific footswitch. Just turn the footswitch selector until is says "none".
afc1903
Thanks for the reply. My problem here is that my stomp controller is programmed to switch on a delay, and switch off a compressor. I cant' figure out how to clear the commands, so I can start from scratch with and simply assign the delay to that foot-switch ( I don't want it to switch off the compressor) I can see how to bypass an effect, but not how to tell it to stop bypassing an effect with a Multiple setting. DunedinDragon
As I said before, you do this by doing the following: 1. Hit the Menu button on the Helix 2 . Push down the button underneath Bypass Assign 3. Use the joystick to move over and highlight the compressor 4. When you do that you'll see it's assigned to a specific footswitch number. Turn the dial underneath that counterclockwise until it reads "none" 5. Proceed on with your life. It works like that every time and will always work no matter how many times you have to have someone to repeat those instruction to you..... It works neither in the LT itself or HXEdit. I can clear the footswitch setting in either place by setting it to none but as soon as I reassign the block to a FS (FS2 in my case), it remembers the multiple setting. Furthermore, on the device, if I go into bypass assign and scroll through every block, the original block is the ONLY block assigned to a FS. Nothing else shows up as being assigned FS2 so there is nothing else in the preset to set to "none".

Hi, If these instructions don't work for you, then you must be doing something wrong, because that's exactly the way it works and I have just tested it using my Helix Floor. Oh, yes - I did test it with HX Edit 3.50 - Highlight one of the FX blocks assigned to MULTIPLE (2). Select Bypass/Controller Assign in HX Edit and change it from Footswtch 2 to None. Done If you cannot get this to work, it may be easier to delete the preset and build it again from scratch. Hope this helps/makes sense.
