sureshwick
Hi, I will soon be traveling for a few months. I have both the helix LT and Helix Native. I want to use just the Native with a laptop and simple speaker/headphones to keep playing for myself. How well does Native work with Garagband? Also I have a M-Audio fast track for the guitar into the laptop. Any issues with this setup? What small speaker would be good to bring? I'd prefer using Native so I don't have to bring my LT.
soundog
Native runs fine in Garageband, so it should work out for you. Use a Garageband audio track, and insert the Helix Native AU plug-in on it. There are plenty of online GarageBand online articles if you need help. You may need to manage your tracks carefully, as Helix Native is a bit of a CPU hog and latency can be a problem if you have a lot of tracks. Hopefully your laptop has enough horsepower. dotpc
Anybody try Helix Native with Reaper? I know Reaper tends to be very efficient (CPU/performance wise).
silverhead
I've been using Helix Native with Reaper since Native was released. Works perfectly.

Do you know how to make the VST full screen? I am a Reaper n00b, but want to learn.
