salty09 Posted July 31, 2018 Share Posted July 31, 2018 It was my understanding, when I was researching which to buy, that the standard will not be available to be updated. It will not be able to get new speaker simulations or enhancements to the firmware itself. I bought the plus and could not be happier with it! It works great with my helix, but I also play with a tech 21 character series British and Liver Pool in front of it and they sound amazing through it, with their speaker defeat switch engaged.
