Jeremy78000
Hi, I would like to listen the Helix sound on my Hi fi system (Denon ceol n9). Would it be possible to use the jack output of the Helix LT to connect it in rca to my amp? Thx !
rvroberts
Yes - That analogue in should work. use line level out of the Helix. (I expect the analogue in to be for a CD or DVD) Obviously start with the volume down low. This will be basically FRFR - so you will need high and low cuts - check out the threads on that - and use your ears as you might need to EQ a bit more if your amp and speakers have really full on bass and high accentuation. (typical for low end HiFi amp and speaker combinations) Obviously your HiFi speakers have their limits too - but if you don't run it too loud it should all be fine. It helps to start with an amp you know - so you can tell when it's sounding right.
MusicLaw
You may also use the Helix's Stereo headphone output jack with the appropriate adapter cable to go from the TRS 1/4" (Stereo) to L & R RCA plugs as your receiver requires. Alternatively, you may also use Helix's FX Output Jacks (L&R) with TS 1/4" cables to RCA, however, you will need to insert a Stereo FX Block in your signal path to route the signal output (or redifine one of Helix's Output Blocks). If you use other than the Helix's headphones output, you may define the Output and FX Block levels as Line vs Instrument via Helix's Global Settings Options.
ensamseglaren
i actually runt my helix into a old nad amplifier into a 212 with vintage30s in it. it works really well. it just delivers 2x20 at 8ohm but its load as hell for the propper use. even tried in rehearsel with my countryband works really good.
