dreva1
hi folks, I'm the lucky new owner of a 120 and FBV express, what is the best resource for to get a handle on the nuts and bolts of the manual handling of the FBV the user and advance seem to me to be geared toward using it connected to a pc cheers A
TheRealZap
it's beyond basic... patches ABCD access... hold any foot for tuner, and the wah pedal is volume, unless you engage the toe then its wah.... nothing else.
fflbrgst
Yep! Hooking the FBV Express MkII to the PC by USB cable is used for updating the firmware (of both the FBV and the amp) and for accessing Spider Edit, which allows you to adjust patches (or download them from Line6) and save them to your User Patch locaitons - and allows you to save your User Patches to your computer in the event you want to overwrite the locations with new patches but still come back and reload them at a later time. Also good if you ever need to do a factory reset, which deletes any user patches you have created.
TheRealZap
assuming it's an MKII of course none of this applies if you just want to use it with the amp.... Yep!
