Dunk888
We don`t have access to the HX Stomp in Europe until December which is a real pain in the butt and huge oversight by Line 6, all these great videos on YouTube and no sales ! my main question to our American cousins who are luck enough to be able to buy the unit is "How hot does it get" and have you had any over heating issues ? all that DSP power in a small enclosure. PeterHamm
It gets warm and there are absolutely no heat issues. I've had mine on for days at a time. It gets warm to an extent, but no warmer.
Kilrahi
I got mine last night and used it for several hours. Same as above, it just feels warm. Not scary warm, just warm. You could cuddle up against it on a cold day and get some benefit from it beyond just its excellent sounds if that's what you're after.

I'm currently using it live with acoustic guitar basically. Not currently in a band, play in church one or two times a month.
bsd512
About 97 degrees F or 36 C. Just about all electronics are rated for more than double that.
AlexNoire
Mine does have a smell, I mean it generates the smell. Can't say what kind of smell but it could be just a smell of new details or paint. Hard to say. What about Yours? And I'd say MIDI inputs are too hot.
