Maestro77
hey! i am a bit confused about that second line in the chain. before and after "cab" it goes down into the second line... can anyone explain this further to me? also why is there a second "cab" field currently activated in this line? do i run through 2 cabs now? probably not the best idea right? (i created this sound from a preset nd it was like that from the beginning) and one more question: why can't i use all the fx in the second line? many are not available there... thank you! Based on what you are saying, this preset is just running a parallel cab/mic. The signal spits before the top cab.... BOTH CABS get hit with the signal, then the path merges back (blends) with the original. It is fairly common to run to different cabinets at one time... or two of the same cabinets with a different mic/position on them. Visualize this as two cabinets sitting beside each other. 2 hours ago, Maestro77 said: why can't i use all the fx in the second line? many are not available there... You are running out of DSP power. It's not a limit of the path/line itself. The same restrictions will apply if you try to add an effect to the top or bottom line.
Maestro77
thank you! very well explained. good to know that the signal splits and it is like using two cabinets beside each other. now that i know that i can tweak the second cab as well... i only tweaked the first one so far.
