macnevine
I just started playing around with the looper and notice when I add it there is one called 1 "switch" and one called 6 "switch" but they seem to be the same exact controls when I compare them. Is there a difference? I searched this forum before this post and I looked in the manual but it is not clear to me. Sorry ahead of time if this has been asked before,. Peter
The 1-switch-looper, you can use like an effect block in stomp box mode. So press the switch once starts the record, press it again plays the record, press it again to overdub, ... (of course you have to assign a bypass switch) When you activate the 6-switch-looper block you leave the stomp box mode and you can control the looper wich 6 switches (rec, stop/play, undo, 1/2,...) silverhead
You're right that both the 1-switch and 6-switch looper blocks have the same features. The difference is operability of the features - using 1 switch without changing modes/views, or using 6 switches in a different mode/view.
