brmarro
Just bought a fbv shortboard for my Spider IV 150 primarily for the pc connectivity. My other Spider V (30 and 20) amps will record directly to Audacity on my PC. All I had to do was select the device from the audio input devices in the program. But when I plug the shortboard into my pc I do not get the option to select it. Is there a driver, or a step I may be missing here? I do get connectivity to the Spider IV edit software so I know there is a connection to the pc, but nothing in the device menus for recording. Gaz_Ham
Im pretty sure its just to use with the amp and has no ability to be used as an audio interface
fflbrgst
^^^ Correct. With the Spider IV, the Mk II controllers only provide USB connection for firmware updates and for using the tone editing/saving features.
