uelef Posted July 18, 2019 Share Posted July 18, 2019 Well, firmware 2.0 for Powercab 112+ will soon be published, and the Line 6 website reveals one important thing that will be new: We will have 12 speaker sims! Great news! (see here: https://line6.com/powercab/overview – at the end of the site there's a table where you can read about 12 speaker sims in firmware 2.0 …) Also new will be a third model of Powercabs: Powercab 212 Plus (with stereo mode!) Select it from the middle pulldown here: https://line6.com/software/index.html Once you do that, connect the Powercab to your computer, open Updater and just follow the prompts. uelef Posted July 19, 2019 Author Share Posted July 19, 2019 Yes, and it was a easier and faster process than updating my Helix floor to firmware 2.80. You should also update Powercab Edit. There are 6 new speaker simulations - I did not have the time yesterday to test them. But I will today. The best thing: You can select Powercab sims via Helix using a Line 6 Link cable (or any other XLR 110 Ohm cable which are much cheaper).
