loydall
Hi - I've been looking at the revival drive and really like how it sounds - it seems to have a really crisp, responsive sound to it with a nice attack to the notes - a real clarity. However - it is quite expensive so was wondering if you guys have any tips on dialling in that sort of tone on helix (I'm on HX Stomp). I really like that clarity the revivaldrive gives but I've not managed that level of crispness/attack with my Stomp yet. Any ideas?
codamedia
The Origin Effects Revival Drive is multiple drive styles... not just one. IMO... the touch sensitivity is in the HX as are the blend controls, choose the drives wisely depending on the tones you are after. I'd start by looking at the Timmy (Tee-mah), King of Tone (Tone Sovereign) and Prince of Tone (Heir Apparent). The Klon (Minotaur) is also a great option for some of the tones I heard in the Revival's demos. Looks like a great pedal... but IMO... the HX should be able to accomplish most (if not all) of what I've heard
