daniel_john
Hello, reading the manual I can't find this information. Is it possible send via midi (CC or PC) some message to change the Whammy block interval settings? Is there anybody that was able to do it? Thank you
rd2rk
You can assign a CC# to control the min/max positions of heel and/or toe. You can use an expression pedal (midi or attached as a third exp pedal) or a static CC. See page 42 of the manual, "Controller Assign". You can also use snapshots. daniel_john
Do you mean you can change the max position of the pedal via cc? i was asking because I was hoping that can exist a device like the evenmidi pitchy to change the “whammy preset” via a whammy style control https://www.evenmidi.com/midi-controllers/3-pitchy.html

Those devices have not been modeled on Helix, and likely never will be. The Helix Pitch models are nowhere near as capable. If you're trying to use Helix to control the actual devices as though you have a Pitchy, you would need to know EXACTLY what MIDI commands are being sent by the Pitchy before I could even begin to think about whether it can be done with Helix. No I don't have a pitchy but I would like to simulate the rotary control on whammy (and pitchy) with a midi controller. The rotary on whammy changes the interval of the pedals, for example : 0 + 24 0 + 12 0 + 7 0 + 5 0 - 3 and so on. What i think is that this settings are the parameters Heel and Toe in the Pitch Wham on the hx effects, right? So I would like to understand if theese parameters are editable via midi cc. rd2rk
Assign Pedal Position to your pedal - MIDI or Expression. If MIDI, assign the CC# that the pedal uses. Assign the Heel and Toe Position parameters to Snapshots. In each snapshot, assign the MIN/MAX HEEL/TOE positions to what you want. In the attached example preset I've assigned the Pedal Position to Helix Expression Pedal 2. MIN/MAX Heel Position is 0. MIN/MAX Toe Position is: Snapshot1 = +3 Snapshot2 = +5 Snapshot3 = +7 Snapshot4 = +12 Hope that helps. Whammy.hlx
