DerNomade Posted December 30, 2019 Share Posted December 30, 2019 Hello everybody from germany. I just got my new hx effects. Before i use it i did an update to 2.82 on mac Catalina. The update failed and now the displays show firmware 2.51 but in the middle field first row boot failure Res=-33 and the device doensn´t appears in the software. I tried all but no way to start. What can i do to reste or start again with the update. I think i´ve made the mistake to backup with helix edit 2.82 and now i cannot get it back. phil_m Posted December 30, 2019 Share Posted December 30, 2019 Try powering up while holding the ">" button down. That should force it back into Update Mode. Try running Updater again, and eventually the update should go through. If you're still having problems, try different USB cables and/or USB ports.
