helix native with Reaper and Helix LT as an audio IF

Dear all.

I used Helix Native as plugin with reaper without any problem...As an audio IF I used my scarlett 2i2..

Now I'm trying to use only  HelixLT as an audio IF..So I can use  it to record in Reaper without any problem, I can set Helix LT ASIO driver in options...

But If I try to start Helix Native with a empty track I can't ear any sounds...the meters at the input of Helix Native seems not working..

I also tried to set as input the input 7 that I know is used to record the dry guitar but nothing happens...

Please someone can help me to understand the right settings? I think could be great to have the possibility to use helix native to edit some presets and try different IRs...and once done simply export the preset and import it in my LT.

any help will be appreciated.

thank you.

M.

In Reaper Preferences>Devices>Audio You've got ASIO>ASIO Helix (I've got the Floor, so use whatever your LT is called).

Enable Inputs First=1; Last=8. Output Range First=1; Last=8.

Request Sample Rate matches what the LT is set at (default 48k I think).

Leave Request Sample Rate UN-CHECKED. Use the ASIO Panel to get the best Sample Rate without crackling/dropouts. On my i7 laptop that's 128 (next setting up from Extra Small).

Reaper Master should be set to 1/2 (default).

On your Native Track, Set Input to 7, Record Output (Latency Compensated).

Record Monitoring button set to AUTO.

Record Arm the track.

Load the attached Preset.

Preset Output is set to Multi.

Output Level is set to -120db. That prevents the output signal from going direct to the speakers. You should only hear the Output from Reaper.
