brokenskull13 Posted March 13, 2020 Share Posted March 13, 2020 My Helix froze in the middle of my update to 2.82. It got all the way to "Rebuilding preset 641" It stayed like that for about an hour. I tried to just reboot the Helix but it boots up to that point and stays there. I uninstalled and reinstalled the updater and edit but now the updater won't even recognize my unit. phil_m Posted March 13, 2020 Share Posted March 13, 2020 Did you create a backup prior to updating? If so, the best thing to do is to do power down your Helix and do factory reset by holding down FS9 & FS10 while powering up your Helix. This will clear out all of the presets, global settings (those were reset anyway with the update) and IRs. Then once it restarts, connect to HX Edit and go to File>Restore from Backup and select your backup. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
