Helix LT Looper Stops when changing Preset

So I'm having a problem with the looper.

When I record something on a preset and switch to a different preset in the same set list having the same stereo 6 switch Looper assigned to the same footswitch even then the looper just stops playing and gets deleted.

Please help or guide to a thread that solves this issue. Thanks. Much regards. Need this to survive the quarantine better

The Looper block needs to be on the same processor path in both presets as well as being the same type (6 switch/1 switch and mono/stereo) for the recorded loop to carry over between preset changes. It actually doesn’t matter what footswitch it’s assigned to in each preset.

Also, if you STOP the looper before changing presets, you'll lose the loop. As noted in another thread, this was not the case until 2.8(?). I reported this to support, who verified it and "passed it on to engineering".

I have a different problem. When I record a phrase in one preset like a clean setting when I switch presets to do a lead over it, the looper applies the settings from the lead preset. It worked perfectly on my hd500x so I never had to mess with any settings. In the videos I have seen it works as I would expect. I looked at all the global settings and didn’t see any thing related to the looper.

You need to have the looper as the last

block in your signal chain if you don’t want any of the other blocks in the preset to affect the recorded loop.
