Line above amp or effect

I didn't notice this before 2.91 however it may always have worked like this.  What does the line above the amp name mean? In stomp mode, when you click on a button, there is a line above the name that separates the path flows and the name of the amp or whatever is assigned to that button. Sometime it is lit up all the way across, sometimes it is only half or a quarter way lit. What does this mean?

ooooohhhhh!  that's nice.  Was it in 2.82?  I didn't notice it.  Thank you.  nice touch now that i know.  I thought it might be some kind of dsp indicator....
