HX Edit - Failed to get impulse names

Hi. Over the past few days I've been having problems with HX Edit - most times when I load the software with connected helix devices (a Helix floor and Rack) I get the error message "Failed to get impulse name. Service is not online.

. I've also updated both my Helix devices to the latest 2.90 firmware, the issue persists.

Hi Raj,

 

I would suggest that you ensure that nothing is blocking your connection to the internet (firewall, Little Snitch etc.) while you start up your HX Edit 2.9. I’m not sure but I think that when HX Edit launches that it is “phoning home” to connect to the Marketplace. I also advise that you install the “Hot Fix” update to v2.91.
