Helix Floor (2.91) to DT25 112 via L6 Link

Hello, I hope everyone is well. I just picked up a Helix (floor) and am admittedly lost. I have been using an HD500 for years and it was connected to my DT25 112 via L6 Link and worked flawlessly. From what I understood, the update to 2.8 was supposed to provide connection through that interface more like the HD500 but I do not think I am getting what I should be. I have been searching the web for help and even here and there are very few resources that can identify what I am doing wrong. The presets sound terrible as they are being colored by the amp and I can't get the snapshots to cooperate for channel switching, etc. Should I abandon this interface and go with maybe the four cable method etc? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks so much in advance.

If the DT25 isn’t responding to the settings in the output block on the Helix, it means you need to update your DT25 to the 2.0 firmware. You’ll need a USB to MIDI interface to do it (the Helix won’t work for this), and once you have that, you can use Line 6 Monkey to send the update.

As far as the DT25, the Helix and L6 Link, the implementation is different than it was with the HD series. The power amp setting will not change automatically like they do with the HD. You have to program the settings you want on a per preset or per snapshot basis.
