Skurecki
I'm a noob to the setup. Trying to understand 4 cable method to attach pod hd to my Jcm. Pretty sure i have it set up properly (cablewise) cause sound is coming out of the cab. I believe I set up the FX Loop properly. however, trying to set up a wah pre the FX Loop produces no wah. Put q reverb after the mixer, and also no reverb. FX Loop is set to Stack in Setup. When looking at the actual effect, SEND appears to be at full, Return is at 0, and mix is set to 95%. I must be missing something here. HELP PLEASE.

Skurecki
Yes I did. I also have a JMD:1. Same setup but it worked on that amp. Maybe I'm missing something on the JCM.
pianoguyy
Good. Then you know how to set up a wah. And you know it works. You'd be amazed at how many people want 'advanced' help, only to discover they didn't know how to program the wah in the first place. hurghanico
Correct 4 cable method scheme: On 7/17/2020 at 11:00 PM, Skurecki said: mix is set to 95% set the mix to 100% and make sure the FX LOOP block in the POD chain is turned on.. probably your JCM 2000 has a parallel type of FX LOOP controlled by a MASTER FX MIX control.. the parallel type FX LOOPS used as such (ie with the MASTER FX MIX control set somewhere between the min and max settings) are useful when you need to put some separate FXs like delay or reverbs stomp boxes set totally wet in the amp FX LOOP and use the MASTER FX MIX control to balance the wet signal with the amps direct signal.. but in a 4CM configuration it would be better to set the MASTER FX MIX control on full/max, doing so the amp FX LOOP would work as a standard serial (instead of parallel) FX LOOP more suited in this case. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ All about POD HD500/X help and useful tips
