joakala
Hi, I'm running OSX 10.15.6, Logic Pro X 10.5.1and Helix Native 1.93, and facing spinning wheel and Logic crashes on daily basis. Found out that launching logic without and internet connection, opening Helix Native and when required to authenticate connect to the internet does the job until the next day. Otherwise launching Logic connected to the internet will make Logic crash. Any ideas, is this a known issue?
datacommando
5 hours ago, joakala said: Any ideas, is this a known issue? Hi, A little more clarification would help here. You’re running a latest version of Logic on a Mac with the latest OS and the most recent version of Helix Native. The missing details are, how long have you been using this set up and did it always work perfectly up until just now. If yes, that what has changed that might have caused the crash to occur. There a several threads discussing HXN in various DAWs where it will either hang or crash. Some of these incidents happen because Native “phones home” to check authorisation, but usually, when fully registered the problem goes away. From your description about disconnecting the internet, I would guess that the “phone home” security check may be the source of the problem. I suggest that you disable any blockers that may be interfering with the “handshake”, for example, check your firewall and/or applications like Little Snitch, Radio Silence etc., and turn them off or grant access. Failing this, the best thing to do is raise a ticket with Line 6 Customer Support - at least they will be made aware of the issue. We’re not exactly tech support people here, but other Helix Native who have been using the plugin for sometime and usually without problems. joakala
Hi thanks. I just installed it so I don't have previous experience using it. No firewall rules blocking, not little snitch or any other software that might be preventing the auth required. Native constantly checks for auth every time it's opened? how that might work if I go offline for 2 weeks, will I be able to use it? Thanks for the help, I'll raise a support ticket with Line 6.
