HX Effect MIDI PC Messages

Is it possible to change the MIDI PC Message that is sent when selecting a preset?  For example when I am in preset mode and I select preset 12A I want to send PC 3.

You can't change that message, per se, but you can use Instant Messages in the Command Center to do what you want.

 

First, go to Global Settings>MIDI/Tempo>MIDI PC Tx and turn it to Off. This will make it so that PC messages associated with each preset isn't sent automatically when selecting that preset. Then go to the Command Center and select one of the lightning bolt icons to set up an Instant Command. Set the command type to Bank/PC and set the PC number you want to send there. It will be sent whenever you load the preset. The nice thing is you can actually have the PC value set to a different number per snapshot if you like, too.
