Helix Update Failure

Need some technical help. I updated Helix to version 3.00 - or so I thought. It looked like everything was going fine. It started rebuilding all the presets, but now it's stuck on "rebuilding Preset 270". I waited about a half hour and finally turned off and rebooted multiple times and it sticks at the same point every time. Anyone dealt with this before and if so, have a workaround? Thanks!

Hi,

When you update the firmware, your Helix goes through the “Rebuilding Presets” routine in order to bring your presets in to line with the latest format. It’s not unknown for this procedure to get stuck at some point as one of the presets may have accidentally become corrupt during the update.

I suggest that you turn the power off to your Helix and then restart it while holding down FS10 & FS11 and this should recommence the Rebuilding Presets process and should hopefully get you past 270. If this does not fix the problem, you can try one of the other Reset Options In the list below. Caution: some of these options will wipe your presets from the units memory and you will need to read load them from your back up which you made before updating the firmware. You did make a back up, didn’t you?

Hope this helps/makes sense.
