Bendad
Hi, I'm new to Helix and I thought this was going to be easy! The images below might assist but this is what I expected to happen. Return 1 and 2 would take an external audio and it works fine. Return 3 and 4 would take another external audio but it does not work! (A bit like a mini mixing desk) Cables are fine. I've swapped the external sources to check everything. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Cheers,
phil_m
If you want the audio running through the path before the Return block to pass through it, you need to have the Mix parameter lower than 100. At 100, all you’re hearing then audio from the source plugged into the return jacks. So in essences the Return 1/2 block is blocking the audio from the Return 3/4 block. If you don’t want to change the Mix parameter, and you want to be able to control the level of both these things separately, move one of the Return blocks down to create Path 2B. Then move the Merge and Split blocks down so path 2A and 2B will be independent paths.

Bendad
Hi, I am up and running with that now so thanks. I am now wanting to use the same path in another preset. How do I add this?

Copy and paste the blocks you need from one preset to the other, or add the block to your “Favourites” to load whenever you need it. Hope this helps/makes sense.
