glenpaulin
Hi everyone- Picked up an HX Effects and struggling a bit. Apologies if I don’t have the lingo down yet. I created a preset with several effects loaded in, like a virtual pedal board. what I’ve noticed is, when I switch on and off the octave, which I do a lot, it will go from the stomp page to the attached page. It’s not every time and can’t find a rhyme or reason for when it does it. very annoying as it changes the switch and I can’t switch the other effects on and off. what am I doing wrong? Tried searching the forums but couldn’t find anything. thank you! Edited February 4, 2021 by glenpaulin Forgot to add thank you
silverhead
Have you read the manual? I suspect you can fix things with an understanding of the different display modes, how they operate, and the Global Settings that affect them. kduck
That's the edit screen for the octave effect. The footswitches are touch-sensitive, meaning if you touch (but don't press) them, you will go into edit mode on that effect. Playing barefoot or using your hand to select the effects can trigger edit mode if you hover over the switch before pressing it. If you don't want the touch-sensitive functionality, you can turn it off in "global settings>>switches>>stomp select". As @silverhead suggested, reading the manual will go a long way to understanding your new toy :) Enjoy!
glenpaulin
super helpful, exactly what I was looking for. Looked in the manual and didn't see anything, but didn't really know what I was looking for. Thanks again.
